SIRE: GLock's Toto Jr

GLOCK’s Toto Jr. is the first licensed son of the legendary Totilas. At the age of three he won his stallion performance test in Ermelo with 86 points. GLOCK’s Toto Jr. competes at international Grand Prix level under his rider, Edward Gal. He was the big winner of the Dutch Dressage Championships 2020, where he scored an exceptional 86.15% in the freestyle. Since their debut at Grand Prix level, GLOCK’s Toto Jr. and Edward Gal have always scored around 80% and above. No wonder he was chosen FEI Horse of the Month in December 2020. He shows excellent ground cover in the walk, his trot and canter impress with power, lightness, elasticity, balance and uphill tendency. This magnificent black stallion also exhibits outstanding qualities of conformation and nature. These characteristics are passed on to his offspring, evident in his very impressive foal report. His offspring are very popular and have achieved high prices at various auctions over recent years. A total of 24 sons of GLOCK’s Toto Jr. were entered for the first round viewing at the KWPN Stallion Show in 2021 and eight of them were immediately selected for the second round viewing. In addition to GLOCK’s Taminiau, GLOCK’s King Karim, Blue Hors Kingston and Mister Maserati, in 2021 the number of approved sons rose to no fewer than 34. His daughters are also doing well: GLOCK’s Toto Jr. was very well represented by three of them being in the top six at the NMK 2021 in Ermelo. His dam, Desperada, is descended from Desperados, who twice achieved individual silver medals at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen. Both his dam and granddam finished their mare performance tests in Germany with excellent scores: test riders gave them the maximum 10.0 for ride-ability.

This chestnut stallion has a magnetic character and appearance and it resulted in him as the absolute eyecatcher at his licensing in Den Bosch. After his approval, Charmeur did a superior stallion test in 2010 where he came out as the clear winner. His sporting career has been hard to beat. At 4 years old he was winner of the 2011 Dutch Pavo Cup, and the following year, he repeated that success and won the Pavo Cup again. At the 2012 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, he achieved a very good 5th Place. In 2013 as a 6 year-old, he won the Stallion Championships in Den Bosch scoring a 10.0 for both the trot and canter.
The reasons for the success are no accident. Looking at his pedigree, his father Florencio I was twice the winner of the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Also his dam's sire Jazz is one of the most successful dressage horses in the world and has sired many successful offspring. Charmeur's foals speak for themselves. In 2011 and 2012, many foals won regional championships and caught maximum prices at their foal auctions.
Charmeur has been called the 'Multi Champion from Holland' and the following list of accomplishments explains why:
2010 Winner stallion performance test
2011 Winner Pavo Cup 4-year old dressage horses
2012 Winner Pavo Cup 5-year old dressage horses
2012 5th. Place at World Championships for Young Dressage Horses
